THE FOUNDER

Per-Christian Brevig – Chris is the Managing Partner and Founder of AJAX Capital Partners. Throughout his 25 years of investing experience, Chris has focused on providing clients with innovative approaches to portfolio construction and asset allocation, and in providing access to high quality, thematically focused investment opportunitites. Prior to founding AJAX, Chris spent 12 years as a Managing Director at Dominick and Dominick (acquired by Wunderlich Securities), where he led the firm's efforts in working with a real estate private equity firm, building a post financial crisis real estate portfolio from scratch to over $500 million in market value. With a long-standing emphasis of analyzing investments from the ground up, Chris has experience in venture capital, hedge funds & fund formation, renewable energy, as well as Real Estate investments and related strategies. Chris graduated from Fairfield University/Dolan School of Business, where he played football. An avid sports fan and outdoor enthusiast, Chris is also passionate about music, having played several instruments as well as singing professionally with the Metropolitan Opera. Chris lives in Sparta, NJ with his wife and their 4 children.

Kirat Anand - Kirat is a Venture Partner at Ajax Capital, bringing a rare blend of startup curiosity and enterprise scale. A former JPMorgan investment banker and Walmart executive, Kirat founded KAS, an apparel brand that surpassed $100M in retail sales, before leading Walmart’s AI pricing strategy for general merchandise across a $150B portfolio spanning all 4,700 stores and digital. At Tech Mahindra, he built the largest enterprise sales pipeline in the company’s retail and consumer goods division.

Kirat is currently a council member for NYU Stern, the New York Fashion Tech Lab, and several venture-backed startups. Recognized as a Rethink Retail Top Retail Expert and Retail Wire’s Retail Brain Trust, Kirat’s unique experience as a founder, operator, and builder makes him a trusted advisor for entrepreneurs, startups and investors navigating AI-driven innovation, autonomous adoption, and digital transformation.

Kirat graduated cum laude from NYU’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business with a double major in Finance and Computer Science. He’s an avid 49ers and Knicks fan who enjoys reading, skiing, working on his golf game, and spending time with his family.
